    It doesn't matter, it's about us. To advance the conversation we must show that we condemn what's wrong, no matter whether from the left or the right.

    If the other side joins us then we know we can have meaningful debate. If they don't then we draw our own conclusions.

    Yes, influence peddling is wrong and should be condemned just equating minor influence peddling with large-scale graft creates a misleading comparison. While both are unethical, one is orders of magnitude more harmful, and pretending they are equal distorts judgment. Proportionality matters.
