Experts: why is gold down and dollar up?

I am starting to think that commodities (gold included) would under perform equities, and that the bear market in stocks (in terms of gold) has ended or on its way to its end (March 09 levels).

 

Hey guys is trading GLD a good way to play gold, or are there better symbols out there to trade? thnx.

 

What are your super duper market models saying?

 

because the market is down.market is pricing in gold long ago, not in dollars.
