Experiences using the Carlin proprietary trading software

Discussion in 'Prop Firms' started by Trader7793, Feb 19, 2004.

  1. I would like to hear someone's evaluation of the proprietary Carlin execution and quotation software used by Generic trading and the firms which clear through them.

    Is the charting any good?

  2. I personally dont think their charting is any good. I relied on esignal myself.

  3. charting needs work, basically afterhours scales on charts get out of whack, but otherwise its good, based on redi.

  4. no real problems with it, I dont use their charts though, as far as execution always smooth, and plenty of ways to enter and cancel orders, I espiecially like having the integrated book, with ecn's and NY. We did have a little problem yesterday, but were being told the problem was with SLK, not with redi.

  5. There are some issues with the charts but i was assured that they are working hard to make them better.

  6. Well hopefully the charts are better than the ones on Assent's Hammer software!!!

  7. assent charting was not so hot... watch out, the chart you are looking and trading off of may be a few days old :)
