Indicators are a waste of time. I trade price and watch the tape on the futures and it works. Anything else is of miniscule importance at best. Major Fed announcements, not interested in any other news unless it is a major emergency in which case my stops will take me out anyway. Why would I lower my efficiency / proficiency for things that tell me what has allready happening on the chart? Just logical. But this is something that requires time for people to figure out. You keep your indicators and I'll keep making money at a more basic and logical trading style. ~Cx

Up and running, Absolutely wonderful... what a pleasure on the eyes... Only downside, all aps gravitate towards the big screen and I tend not to use the 20's much, I just ordered a second 30", wifee and son just inherited my 20's, their eyes are both younger...

I run a Dell 24" for my equities model, and I will be buying a 30" Dell for my options model. I have hundreds of equities and hundreds of options strikes/month that I track. For the equities model, up to down space is more important to me, so I rotate the monitor the way it is pictured on the first link (close to top left of page). For the options model, side to side real estate is more important to me (it just happens that is the way I designed the software), so I plan to leave it side length. I like the 22 inch ones the best. It is probably my old eyes but the 22 inch has the best pixel size (dot pitch) compromise that makes them easier to read. The good thing about the 30 inch is it can display more information than two 22 inch ones. For comparison here are the pixel size and resolution for the various LCD formats.
