Execution Question - MBTrading Forex

  1. I use Hotspot, Lava and Currenex.

I don't quite undertsand your point. Say you are short of cable and leave a stop at 1.7600. I appreciate you saying that Hotspot only fill you if it goes 1.7600 bid. However if the spread is wide (as it quite often is when not in New York and London time)you could get a shocking fill.

For that reason I leave stops with a trusted non ECN type counterparty.

I understand that the possiblity exists but in my experience the only time I have received a fill greater than 2 pips away from my level was after big news announcements (eg NFP) and then it has been on the order of 4 or 5 pips max.

This is a little off thread, but you mentioned cgq. I'm trying to get in touch with them in the uk with no joy. Would you mind telling me how much you pay to use their service?

    Thanks United

CQG would be offered by your brokerage or at least the one I use offers it.
The cost is 25 cents per contract I am not sure if it is provided free with others,
But hey 25 cents for what I get its worth it! Lots of professional traders use it.
    Hope I was helpful.
