I placed a sell limit OPG order at the NYSE for 32.35 for SGP. On www.yahoo.com and Tradestation the opening price is 32.37. I called interactive brokers and they said the trade wasn't executed because the opening print at the NYSE was 32.10. He said the opening print that you see of 32.37 is from an ECN. How would I check the opening print at the NYSE? Thanks
then I placed a buy limit order: Acknowledged Buy 1000 SGP Limit 31.65 GTC ** this order was placed before the open We had reached a low of 31.50. I can't imagine how this was not executed... should I complain?
*** I called. This order was submitted to ARCA and marked RTH only. The stock did indeed trade at 9:31 down to 31.50 at which my order would have definitely been filled, however I didn't know that RTH is defined even though it was submitted to ARCA as "when the damn specialist opens the order" he opened at 9:37. Well I guess that answer the ? to the first one
