Excessive volume

  1. Hi tttivest,

First of all, you can't just look at volume and ignore price action.

I took a look at DRXR and its volume on Thursday was about as normal as any other prior day with a wide range body dark candlestick...

Thus, its normal price action to me.

For example, Thursday volume was around 122,969...

Prior wide range body dark candlestick volume was 101,011

Prior wide range body dark candlestick before the above was 122, 278...

Prior wide range body dark candlestick before the above was 141,956

ASTM was also normal...actually a little below its average...

What volume do you have for ASTM on Friday and compare it to its prior Volume Average (5 day, 10 day, 21 day or whatever) and tell me what you got. ???

    It's normal to me.

I've attached a chart of ASTM to show you there's NO HUGE Volume.

Once you begin learning about Price and Volume...you'll be able to figure out what's noise and what to start zoning in on.

    Good Luck.

  3. Hey tttinvest,

    No problem...

Look at it this way...you could have put your money on ASTM via typing in the wrong symbol prior to hitting the trade execution button

Good luck and hope you get things organized.
