  1. But in the light of the recent events i`m a bit sceptic on how UK brokers would treat russian customers.

I was referring to UK regulators (not brokers), they are supposed to treat all clients of a failed UK regulated brokers same!

If they are regulated in UK then UK regulators not SEC in USA!

They have an account in IB actually. IB replied to me the following:
    "
Exante Limited is indeed an introducing broker, which uses IB for execution.

However, Exante operates the pool structure, so Exante's clients do not have any relationship with IB.

Unfortunately, IB cannot assist you in any way with your inquiry.

    Exante Bot is detected :finger:
Two posts and all with kudos to exante.

it is 2019 . Still can`t get my money from them since 2019. All because they are offshore and it is quite difficult to sue them.

  7. I have been a client at Exante for a number of years and have never incurred any problems withdrawing assets. All brokerages have protocols and external regulations to follow and yes I have had problems withdrawing from other brokerages that took time to resolve. Indeed, in one case after months of failing to withdraw my assets from a well known UK futures brokerage, I did have to contact the local regulator who then contacted the brokerage and the matter was resolved in two days. I suggest that you ask your Account Manager at Exante under which legal entity your account is registered and then contact the local regulator who should help to mitigate the problem and perhaps even offer to assist as an arbiter. Usually brokerages are requesting extra documents because of having to comply with local regulator or European Union rules so if they get the go-ahead to return your money directly from the local regulator, then they comply promptly. I do not believe that any brokerage wants to withhold assets from their clients as it damages their reputation for no gain. They can use or spend client money as it is held in segregated accounts. The main reason why brokerages withhold clients' funds is through fear of breaking regulations by not obtaining the correct records on file to show auditors. Since MiFID II, the rules within the EU have become much stricter so I expect a lot more people facing issues like this.

It is funny to see messages from people with almost zero posts in my thread talking good things about that scammers.

P.S. It is 2019 , and from 2016 I still have no access to my funds. Moreover they blocked my online access to online cabinet recently.

Weird. You're a client of Exante and a SVP of BofA?

  10. Indeed I used a stock photo because by misfortune, I am not a particularly good-looking chap. Very few of you chaps are using photographs at all, at least I was making an effort! I'm switching to a yacht profile photo now and before some of you attempt to verify whether or not it is my real yacht, let me tell you that it is not :) Again it is a stock photo that I took from the internet. Sadly, my yacht is a bit smaller than the one in my profile photo. Also, the girls that my son is dating are not as pretty in real life as their profile photos online suggest :))))
