    Hi frenchfry,

Could you provide a chart sample to explain Stitch issue stated on the quote? TIA

  2. Thank you for "forcing" me to review my findings. When I changed the chart settings again to where I suddenly saw a diversion from the rule I could see upon closer inspection that one of the stiches was in fact an FTP and the other one an OB by half a point.

Therefore my my original observation was right: Stiches ALWAYS have decreasing (non-dom) volume on the second bar.

But don't ask me (yet) why they are classified as "dominant". Because the first bar of the stich doesn't necessarily always have dominant volume either.

  3. Consider that FBP and FTP could move in either direction, whereas Stichs can only move in one direction.

Next, the volume will give you a tip.

This Friday's ES bars 11:20, 11:35, 12:05, 12:30, 13:10,13:50, 15:45 seem to be stitch second bars that have increasing volume. Am I understanding this incorrectly?

  5. Just when I thought that I had corrected my mistake I suddenly see something which looks like a stich AND it has increasing volume on the second bar!?

Seems like I can't rely on the automatic pattern detection in Tradenavigator.

    Please see enclosed.

It seems that this observation doesn't always apply: Friday's ES bars: 11:50, 13:50, 14:50 (on my chart).

I think that there are very few such hard rules if any. It seems that Jack Hershey's method is not about 'what will happen', but about 'what happened' and 'where you are'.

The way I understand MADA: you act based on where you are, which is the only thing that you know for sure. You don't have to concern yourself with what's coming up, because when that happens that will be the new known present, and only then you'll act based on that.

  7. Well... are you sure?

You mean that the next bars after stich 7 in Jack's graphic can ONLY move up and stich 8 only down?

I just looked to to confirm or debunk this on my chart but after my previous "stich experience" I prefer not make a statement at this point in time which then I have to change multiple times again.

  9. Didn`t you notice the fracture on the Jack`s stichs???:D

It was a gentle hint to you...

  10. FF,use the Stichs+PRV,when it coincide>>jump in,but know that you know where you are regarding the 3 dimension(3 fractal levels).
