PTVTrader, thank you for showing me the level of details I missed! Just to be more precise... bar 1 created the first VE but then bar 2 and 3 again created VEs, correct? And even more precise...After the first bar I can accelerate the tape. If that's correct I can follow you until here. But you also noted something about "...close in the zone...". What does that mean? And finally I think I have the answer to what "M1" and "M2" are: After you have a VE (maybe this VE even has to be after a point 3?) you (can) have two (or only one) additional moves before the final FTT. Thank you!
Thanks for the follow up. Belatedly, I did figure out how to show the four pages of the PDF. The PDF looks like a very good way to take snap shots during the formation of a bar. My comments, were as you say, from looking at the page 1 only. So I apologize for not being able to operate the PDF.....then drawing the conclusions I did. we have exchanged info for a long time and what I didn't see was biasing my views. So I went through your charts and comemts thoroughly. Thanks for figuring out I didn't know or see the four pages. In the order of events, in general, you have it down cold that bar 6 ended a short pattern. Very cool and correct. Page 1 shows a FBP and it shows a color change that may be the result of good platform codification that is working. On page 1, you could have the six parts of the decile based volume pace showing. If you are using our pace code supplied to TN, then go Edit chart and click on pane 2 and chose the auto adjust for the rainbow rays on volume. then you will have a 1600 br sample that does an add delete every new bar. A sensory opoportunity from this is seeing the horizontal segments shift ever so slightly in the direction of the intermediate term volume delineations. Page 1 has text I now see. This snapshot is a nice one since it IS the bar opening AND you see an OTR bar combination of several single pair combinations. PRV is absent simply because the ratio is being calculated and has not displayed. It may be second 300 or 299. For me this page 1 display makes me hit the long post FTT post change reversal trading platform icon. the display has a volume annotation next to it; I assume we have 1% of time showing. It could be 1% of potential volume. You know and understand the "pattern" you reported you see the FTT on bar 6. Thus a profit segment ended. A new profit segment is beginning. Deduction may speak to you to say go long and begin to make money. page 2 Text is correct except for many things. Dominant volume is there; node F is n+1 bar of a B2B 2R 2B pattern beginning. You misunderstand lock in volume. Actual volume is used to measure lockin and PRV volume is used to measure dominance "ahead of the market". In CW terms this is a huge EDGE that is 100% probable level. A very swift volume leading indicator. Lock in occurs when actual volume equal prior bar volume. This ESDGE is also a 100% probable leading indicator of price. There is NO lockin on page 2. You discuss color change and profer a selection of choices to as to why the bar is correctly colored black at the begining of a B2B 2R 2B pattern after a R2R 2B 2R pattern has just ended. Look at the bar which has doubled in black volatility, regardless of the nice color it has. Deductive logic dictates that the shape of the representation of price must be "called out" as long. If you use black for long, then color the bar black. any programmer can code a display to "think up" the correct color for you which comes from reasoning. PDF does allow me to drop and drag text. To finish pge 2. Look at the volume bar colors and see R2R 2B 2R and see bar 7 after an FTT beginning the B2B 2R 2B. We are on node F on bar n+1 of a long pattern making money from the open of the bar where we reversed long from a short profit taking. I cannot read the blue annotation next to the top of the PRV. Little actual volume is showing. page 3 Page 3 is precisely correct and you are out of the trade sitting on node B via a feeback loop. Great work. I see 5% and a number with five significant figures (the volume so far which whose PRV will be 20 times greater) I am impressed with what is generating the numbers. you may want to get a "count down clock so you can log events as they occur. page 4 There is text which conveys an emotional signal from you to you. this means journal the emotion AND make a reasonable change in your approach. My suggestion is that since you are on bar n now and the bar is dominant that you get back in the trade because of the remaining difference between PRV and actual volume (black) among other things. Your showing a data set on volume which is that 10.4% of the volume is 19,950 meaning 90% of the bar volume as yet remains to actually happen ( may be misreading this data pair, I do not know; it looks like the two values are connected and it may be a % of PRV???) Think about the B2B 2R 2B that you already know about and think about adding cycle 1 (dominant) and cycle 2 (non dominant) to this knowledge. Reflect. You know that as you approach the prior RTL you have a trough on the way from point 1 to point 2. you know point 2 is on the "other" side of the RTL which is still ahead in this first price move of the B2B 2R 2B. What you are doing is taking your pattern knowledge and adding cycle knowledge to it. This, then, enhances your skills as a combination of inference. We have a pattern; it is going to complete. we can add a precise volume monitoring and analysis to it by using cycle 1 and cycle 2. Bars like bar 7 are bars that make money and are bars that have only one sentiment during the bar. Page 4 ends with a small portion of the bar having occurred. It takes forever to get through the 300 seconds. Journal out a description of a pattern interms of price and volume of make a graphic of this journey. Make sure you include three price moves and four volume moves. The emotional summary on page 4 shows that you need to log the emotion and make a reasonable change in your approach. you have detemined sentiment improperly and you are trading in a freak out manner by not using data sets at your disposal. A lot of things are possible for a purposefully learning trader. You could be making up more and more rules to follow. This is typical of inductively based traders. Almost no one switches to deductive processes; they stick with induction. Please be sure you are working dominant and non dominant in order to be using right/left thinking instead of the up/down orientation of CW. Please recognize that the pattern is the only formation for trends and their completion. If you complete a pattern, a good platform colors the bars to tell you this. These four pages tell you that you platform is doing good coloring and you mind is doing something else from a rule you have from somewhere. Begin to do carry ove and be sure your degap from the prior day close to the open of the day. page one shows you degap and it also shows you do NOT annotate price. If you did your would see FTT's and RTL's being broken to tell you that you know you know where you are in the trading fractal pattern at all times. Cycle 6 adds YM as a leading indicator. You may have seen what page 3 represents by looking at the "faster fractal" on YM which is telegraphing the truns of the pattern as completed three move collections on YM. Finally, there is the Hershey Hinge (HH). Bar 6 to 7 was a Hershey Hinge. This is a sentiment change bridging formation. Once you see this kind of "event" it will sort of keep appearing as a shape your mind recognizes. So good luck in moving forward. Doing the laps around the cycle 1 folw chart will quickly ramp you up to speed on the dominant trades in the pattern. Cycle 2 is the non dominant trends. Cycle 3 puts them together and cycles 6 through 10 are simply iterative refinement tools for carving the turns more effectively and efficiently.
thread readers. Please take the trouble to read all of wildskier's posts. This is a great expression of the CW and how a person following CW type processes goes through decision after decision to get to where wildskier is located. The process of getting to reject TA or to not use volume in monitoring and analysis involves a lot of steps. I believe you can also see how reaction trading can dominate in lieu of being able to maintain an "anticipatory state of mind". OODA of CW is in contrast to the MADA routine. Trend following is a reaction orientation and monitoring and analysis of thrends, instead, lends an anticipatory tone to trading. this is a big choice. Most traders to predict and bet on their prediction; this inductive orientation is not a requirement. The wonderful thing about trading is that a person can learn from others and not have to invent the wheel all over agian. It is true that that some people feel the need to protect others. Some feel that shooting the messenger is also an important function. So what do you conclude wildskier is left with? The consequences of his decisions. The consequencs of my decisions are an exact science.
PTVtrader, There is no FTT of the red and brown fractals, just the pink. The reason is that the previous two bars mark the transition of p2 to a p3 within a non-dominant that's inside the dominant brown and red fractals. To count as an FTT on the brown and red fractals the non-dominant should have transitioned into dominant and price should then fail to hit the respective left trendlines.
