I noticed that some traders have a musical past, I studied classical and later jazz piano in Moscow back in the 20th century. Done some pro touring, recording work & represented a symphonic orchestra for a while. Anything goes here, funny stories, keyboard reviews, pictures/videos of your gear if you still play. I've given up a long time ago, because I realised I could never be this good: But I still do some home entertainment, when the neighbours are out
Being the son of Russian emigres I was force fed Tchaikovsky and Rimsky-Korsakoff et al as a child. Needless to say I bought myself a Fender Telecaster when I was 17 and haven't looked back since (Good investment too, the 1950's Tele has appreciated a lot in value since!)
Am I allowed in here? I still perform once a week. Was never force-fed Tchaikovsky, but utilized the harmonic-minor and Phrygian scales quite well in the 80's thanks to the Bach-Rock movement! Yay for guitarists with technical ability!
