Hunter and Farmer Mentality. A hunter went looking for his catch, when chance came, he shot and got his bounty. If he delayed for a second his prey might vanish or attack him. A farmer went shopping for some shoots, he was looking for the strongest ones, even though he had to pay some more. He planted and carefully tended his shoots. Some shoots died young, he plucked them out and replaced with new ones. When they grow to 100% he knew he needs not worry any more. When winter came he took his profit. One day the hunter and the farmer met, and they debated ferociously whose method was more profitable. They had been debating for several years without reaching a conclusion.

Treasure Map. Someone went hunting for treasure on the top of a mountain, he came to a junction and saw a map on the ground, he didn't waste his time looking at the map, he followed his gut feeling and go to the left which went up. Another one also heard something about the treasure, came to the same junction and saw the map, he took a glance, it show that the left went up, so he put it in his pocket. After sometime the trail began to go down, he took out the map and felted that he had not seen any sign on the left side of the map. He considered throwing the map away, thinking someone had fooled him, but at closer look he remembered all the sign on the right side of the map. He had put the map upside down. He quickly reversed his direction and found the treasure. The first one went up on the left side, then go all the way down to bottom of the valley and then up again. He finally got the treasure though a little later than the second one, because the treasure is so enormous that no one can take it all, and it always wait there on the top of the mountain for some other to take his share.
