Hi all, anybody here trading EW1/EW2 futures options? what about those? can you get good fillings and enougth liquidity? Thanks in advance.
on screens they are staying wide but pit is trading them like any other expiration, one custy came in last friday and sold a lot of the 1035p & 1040p's w/ the sep future @ like 43-48, turned out a winner but a risky play. beats the SPX weekly having to battle that opening print...
I'm surprised I thought more people would trading these options. I find these series very interesting in order to add more choice to my trading. Thanks for your answer.
biggest thing is probably just that most people don't know about them...same as end of month (EW) contracts. Most retail brokers you pull up a chain on the ES and you don't see the month-end contracts or the weeklies. Good luck trading them, S
i usually take the mid point of the bid/ask spread like reliable reference for option market value. Is this really reliable with wide spreads like EW options? Generally i think so, but occasionally market maker could move this spread to his own finest delta hedge improving this additional margin. I'm not sure to trade this chains.
