Dawkins is a favorite of the quote-miners who habitually take Dawkins and others like him out of context, by selectively limiting what they quote. He even talks about it in his latest book. Are you really stupid enough to think that Dawkins, a world-class evolutionist, has any time for your story book "theories?" You're no better than the quote-miners and revisionists who claim Einstein was a theist. You're like the Karl Rove of science, taking a page out of his play book, by attacking an opponent on the very front that he should be unassailable. Remember how Kerry was made to look like a coward when, in fact, he was a war hero? And remember Mark Kennedy, son-in-law of former Governor George Wallace? He was a juvenile and family court judge and served as president of the National Committee to Prevent Child Abuse and Neglect. Rove had a hand in starting a whisper campaign to make Kennedy look like a homosexual pedophile. Kennedy still beat Rove's guy, Harold See, but he didn't run for reelection. You Rightsters would do just about anything, wouldn't you? And now Dawkins on evolution...
The confusion comes because you don't usually question the religious posts, but usually criticize the evolution/big bang theory posts. Couple that with the fact that you're from the southern USA, and I think that's why most people believe you are on the side of the bible thumpers. But then again, maybe you just dislike the ET posters who happen to be atheists more.
You really are a mouth breather, aren't you? Dawkins writes about the gold standard of evidence for evolution as researched and determined by scientists from across the globe. It is not HIS view. It is THE view of all of the scientists in the field, dilettantes nothwithstanding. If you actually read anything he or any other scientist in the field has written on the subject, then you would know this already. However, like Trader666, you consider yourself sufficiently expert to question entire bodies of science without a scintilla of familiarity with the subject matter.

I listen to the Dawkins video. He is saying with our civilization is possible to find intelligent design from genes and molecules. He is saying this intelligent design is possible to come from the very intelligent technology advanced civilization in the universe that "evolved by Darwinian means" And this civilization plant the seed for species on the earth. He is not saying there is the proof for this, he is especular. He say "I suppose is possible" Dawkins is never saying intelligent designer is god. And he say if this very technology advance civilization design species on earth, then is still the question where do the advance civilization come from.
