Just curious -- has there never been a successful female trader posting on ET? Love you guys btw. Overall, smart and funny. Now if only you all had abs too...
SusanaDT, You really should spend more time in male company. We do tend to do a lot of bashing on each other. We do tend to embellish a little quite often (some more than others). We have a rough crude sense of humor and we don't expect you moisties to understand. However, we also know how to see through the BS and instinctively know when the bashing is playing or real. Just as we know when someone is embellishing a little or flat out lying just to make his e-peen look bigger. This is definitely a male dominant forum and the language, humor, and bashing can and will get rough from time to time. If you put yourself in this arena you WILL be fair game and will be made fun of, belittled, called names, all in the name of fun. We are NOT being mean and if you wear your little heart on your sleeve, be prepared to have it knocked off and stepped on. This is just how men are. Try spending time with more men and you will catch on. Don't spend time with to many different men though...you don't want THAT label.
Title Minx was kicking ass and taking names for a while around here ... then she got married and split-the-scene. She was sexy and fun, and a helluva good stock trader as well, she could hang tough with the guys and still had a ton of sex appeal in her posts ... nothing like SusanaDT. ... and there's plenty of guys with abs on the board babe ...
exactly susana, on the record, my e-peen is this long : |-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| (Not to scale)
Yeah that scale is about 3x too long. Seriously though ET is another form of trading. Sometime you trade your knowledge for the humor, sometimes you provide humor and pick up some new knowledge...and yes occasionally there there is some direct knowledge for knowledge transfer.
In most cases yes. For the record I rarely make any claims either express or implied about any of my actual trades, successful, failed, or otherwise. The only trades I have talked about are either my first years trades, hypotheticals, or trades others were considering. For what it's worth, none of the advice I have ever given has been disputed or proven wrong.
Yet - you keep coming back to this thread and posting more - why would you if it is not time well spent for a successful trader like yourself ?
