Speaker Mike Johnson voiced support just last year for revisiting Supreme Court decisions that struck down restrictions on the use of contraception, barred bans on gay sex and legalized same sex marriages, CNN reports.

Said Johnson: “One of the primary purposes of the law in civil government is to restrain evil. We have to acknowledge collectively that man is inherently evil and needs to be restrained.”

School Board Member Accused of Vowing to Be ‘Executioner for God’
    https://www.thedailybeast.com/local-california-school-board-member-pledged-to-be-executioner-for-god

A local school board member in Tuolumne County—southeast of Sacramento, California—made a series of chilling threats that mentioned killing children, according to new court filings.

The Modesto Bee reports that Jason Vassar, a 50-year-old elementary school board member, espoused racist comments and claimed to be the “Messiah.” The man, whom the local sheriff’s office has detained for a mental evaluation, according to the paper, now faces the Belleview Elementary School District board seeking to remove him over his online conduct.

“I was kind of shocked to read in Revelations that I was going to be executioner for God and kill your children,” Vassar wrote in one post, according to The Bee.

Moms for Liberty co-founder: "Don't Say Gay," but having a threesome with her husband and another woman is okay. Bonus: Her husband is Florida's GOP chairman.

Fl. GOP chair and husband of Moms for Liberty co-founder accused of sexual battery

Florida’s GOP chairman has been accused of sexual battery by a woman who says she was part of a ménage à trois with him and his wife, who's a co-founder of right-wing group Moms for Liberty, according to a new report.

The woman says she partook in a consensual threesome with Christian Ziegler and his wife, Bridget Ziegler, sources told journalists with the Florida Trident, the newspaper of the non-partisan Florida Center for Government Accountability.

Sarasota police confirmed to other reporters that they are investigating the complaint, which NBC News’s Matt Dixon said is slated to be redacted and released Thursday. Raw Story received a redacted copy about 1 p.m. Thursday.

Sarasota Police spokesperson Cynthia McLaughlin told Raw Story said in an email, "It is an active investigation."

The woman says the incident occurred when Bridget Ziegler was not present, according to Florida Trident sources.

The local news outlet reports no charges have been filed. It remains unclear if the woman’s accusations have been substantiated, and neither of the Zieglers responded to requests for comment.

Bridget Ziegler is considered a rising Republican star in Florida, having secured an endorsement for her school board seat by Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL).

She co-founded the right-wing group Moms for Liberty, which helped lay the groundwork for DeSantis’ “Don’t Say Gay” law, the Florida Trident reports.

The Sarasota Herald-Tribune also covered the report.

Ron DeSantis’ staff had to quickly purchase a Bible for $21.47 on Amazon just days before the governor’s inauguration in January 2019, NBC News reports.

DeSantis, who has made big push to appeal to evangelical voters, told staffers that his family did not own a Bible.

Said a former aide: “People are typically sworn in on something that is historic — a family Bible or something with historic value. It was profoundly strange that he did not care at all and treated it like it was nothing.”

The Texas Supreme Court late Friday temporarily halted a lower court order allowing a Dallas woman to obtain an abortion in spite of the state’s strict bans, after she learned her fetus has a fatal condition,” the New York Times reports.

“The state court’s ruling was in response to an appeal from Attorney General Ken Paxton of Texas, who opposed the woman’s abortion.”

ExGOPer should work extra hard with your fake news work. Fake news reporters are on the chopping block. Washington Post laying off 240 of its 750 workforce. The fake news reporters came out with a one day strike. Wait till Jeff Bezos has the Artificial Intelligence robots writing fake news. No need to hire some lazy slugs to put out fake news. Why pay the slugs a salary, healthcare, pensions, give them paid time off and other perks when an Artificial Intelligence robot can work 24/7 and you do not have to pay the robot or give it any benefits?
