I just know that if it fizzles out Bush will be blamed for it.

California is the best place to live in the USA, if you can afford it.
It's just too bad that Sacramento has had so many whores for so many years.

  3. Obama has faced this choice before: force unions to accept reality or screw people who thought we had a legal system.

He chose the latter option with the GM bailout and undoubtedly will do so again, After all, no unionized government employees can ever have their wages, pension or lavish benefits cut. The rest of us just need to share the wealth a little and do our fair share.

  4. Except California generates more than its fair share of all the commies that go to Washington and want to enact federal legislation that drives federal government costs up for everyone in all states. You may send 250-300 billion there but Maxine Waters, Pelosi, Boxer, and Feinstein have it spent already and even more plans for where it could go if there is any "extra."

It's like the immigration issue. In theory you could have more sympathy for California related to the federal government not enforcing the border and all the additional costs that fall to California as a result. In reality though, it all the libs you send to DC and all the sanctuary city crapola that California promotes that enables the problems there and as a gateway to the rest of the country.

Bottomline: Should be charging California even more.

Perhaps in return Disneyland will become a national park with a five dollar entry fee.

  6. Another rant without any basis in facts.

  7. Looks like you lost your focus there a bit. The thread was about California and I made a point about Californias contribution to both the federal spending and the immigration mess.

Then you posted a link on what Obama and Homeland Security are doing in regard to deportations.

Might want to save that link for when that topic comes up.

  8. I was specifically referring to your this comment -

In theory you could have more sympathy for California related to the federal government not enforcing the border and all the additional costs that fall to California as a result

That was not based in reality as I proved. Thread maybe about California, but that doesn't mean you are entitled to your own facts.

    Why shouldn't americans bailout California.

Our teachers, want their 6 figure salaries. Our principals, their 150 k a year.

Our cops and firemen like their 6 figures ( a little overtime).
And all our workers love their retirement benefits. Its like taxpayers will also pay in 3 to 5 million for each govt worker so that that each workers retirement account will kick out say 80 percent of their highest salary.

And best of all if they fake an injury in the last year they call it "disability" and then they get tax free 6 figure money the rest of their lives.

We need to spread the wealth around and bail these govt workers out. More taxes please. We have a lot of workers each expecting to live high out here.

  10. You are drifting here and have lost your focus a bit.

Your post talked about how we should be giving money back to California. I said the state has contributed to the federal spending by sending pinkos to Washington and then mentioned how you have contributed to the immigration problem, especially with your sanctuary city bullshiite. So in regard to giving you money back, the hell with ya. You should be paying more.

You replied with a link about what Obama and the feds are doing nationwide in regard to deporting hispanics etc. Completely disjointed reply.

Should take your money and give it to Arizona and other states that are trying to help with the problem instead of your bullshiite sanctuary cities and trying to figure out if illegals should have free tuition and medical care for just them or for their extended family too.

California should do what it will and I am not suggesting otherwise. Just contain the debts there within the state and dont even think of asking for a bailout. No one wants to help anymore. You elected Jerry Brown to fix your budget problems so you have alll gone completely mad. Let us know how that works out.
