Every time I hear people claim you do nothing but lose in trading......

It always makes me want to do it, seriously guys. If you want people to not trade you don't go screaming it as loud as possible on every single thread where people ask perfectly legitimate questions. That simply makes you look way more questionable than even the people claiming they're making tons of money which. I would like to point out is noticably less than the people who claim otherwise.

I think I'm definitely going to try and get into trading just to see what the fuss and negativity is all about.
  2. People discourage you from trading because they don't want you to know how easy it is. Within a couple of weeks you'll be drowning in riches beyond your wildest dreams.

Start picking out your yacht now. Most of the major boat builders are backordered. Rich traders, mostly from ET, are standing in line with cashiers checks to make deposits. And for your personal jet, I would recommend the G550. I love mine.

I would wish you good luck, but I can tell from your post you won't need any. See you in Monte-Carlo.

I'm trying to decide whether that post was sarcasm or genuine.
  5. Which post are you referring to? Yours or mine?

    lol! Yours :p

You can never tell on this forum in particular.
  7. With perception like that, I think you'll make your money in days rather than the rather conservative period of weeks previously suggested :D
  8. I would like to offer you a couple of observations:

    - There is no fancy car, expensive watch, and exotic vacation ads here, nor would you find them in a real trading website/magazine.

    - The market is a casino and trading is indeed gambling. Those who do it profitably call it a business.

I hope that would help you get rid of some false expectations, that is if you have any.

-_- I make no assumptions I've been going at this with paranoia. Still though it does make me wonder with the kind of reactions people give when someone's posting their earnings when they're doing well.
  10. From my observation, those who got good trading sense rarely react to others P&L.
