We'll see. I still have AMD... and no Intel. AMD may or may not come out with a chip to beat the Duo Core. But that may be because they're currently investing energy into building a new state of the art wafer plant in NY. They're building American, I have huge hopes for their success for all our sakes. If this goes thru, it means 1200 new jobs in that area and countless supporting infrastructure business in US manufacturing. It's companies like this that will make or break the US's future, I dearly hope we support them. But! AMD is no longer AMD. AMD is now AMD + ATI. Not many people are disputing the current supremacy of ATI vs Nvidia. AMD = ATI. Most people will NEED new video cards for Vista, but if they game, they will want to upgrade video every year anyway. ATI = #1. Intel = all by itself. AMD = #2 processor + #1 graphics. Hrm.
