I am 90% certain El Padre Santo is not a vegetarian. My question is, does El Padre Santo eat animals that are kept in a pen and are treated in the most horrible conditions. Or does El Padre Santo eat free-range animals.

Of course, if he were truly 100% committed to doing his part in curbing HFGW by reducing his carbon footprint, he would ration his flying, and he would become some form of a vegetarian, assuming his doctor gave the ok

"Three-quarters of Americans now accept the scientific consensus on climate change, the highest level in four years of surveys conducted by the University of Texas at Austin. The biggest shocker is what's happening inside the GOP. In a remarkable turnabout, 59 percent of Republicans now say climate change is happening, up from 47 percent just six months ago..."

we are still waiting for peer reviewed science showing man made co2 is causing warming... correct?

Therefore in terms of the science you find this consensus what ..proof that democrats and the media can do anything with propaganda.

Shouldn't this scare you? There is not even a consensus of the scientists saying man made co2 is causing warming.

Seriously Nitro... do you think man made co2 is causing warming. Why? Do you have the science? Because I can show you change in co2 levels follows change in ocean temps.

I have already answered this question. Unlike Futurecurrents, I don't have the patience to say the same thing over and over again, thinking that somehow this umpteenth different way of explaining it will somehow hit home with the person.

That CO2 levels also have some correlation to ocean temperatures does not surprise me, since the oceans are a vast stores of all sorts of elements, greenhouse gas or not. Since water is special and there is almost nothing else like it, the effect of the oceans is to dampen any accumulation of these chemicals.

At some point though, there is a tipping point where water can no longer work its magic. We are approaching that faster than ever because other than natural processes that dump chemicals into the ocean, we are now a significant part in addition to that. The oceans can't keep up for much longer. If it weren't for the Earths oceans, the Earth would already be Venus.

  8. Jem has no interest in the truth. That much is clear. It's all about the ideology. And again, I repeat myself.

maybe I missed it... I am not sure you ever produced any peer reviewed science showing man made co2 causes warming. I remember you asking me to define peer reviewed... and I said in a peer reviewed journal but I was wiling to look at other things that involved real science an not failed models.

If I recall you produced something from Hansen about historical data - models and tipping points... but he presented no science showing man made co2 causes warming if I recall.

so before you claim to be repeating yourself... you should first link to some peer reviewed science.

    2. I don't get this response. Change in Ocean temps leads co2 by one year... and change in Air temps is the leads by 9 months.

Are you claiming the leader is somehow really following the laggard? On what basis are you making that claim?

    3. So I guess your speculation is that we are fast approaching a tipping point. Which is possible... but why are you saying that man made co2 is causing it. Do you have any science supporting that.. other than failed models.

seriously... I want to know what you think you have in terms of real science.
are you falling for the fake consensus crap?

    is it models?
is it simply the idea that co2 can reflect can be a blanket... and a shield.

I think you are smart guy... but I wonder how well you analyze things.
its plain as day to most really smart people there is no peer reviewed science showing man made co2 is causing warming... its speculation.

I can submit a list of thousand of scientists who question the consensus.
Did you read what Freeman Dyson is saying. He is a top scientist known for his critical thinking skills.

The idea that global warming is the most important problem facing the world is total nonsense and is doing a lot of harm.

They have already determined the heat is not hiding in the oceans. The change in heat content in the oceans represents a temperature rise of a mere 0.04 degrees over 50 years.

At this point futurecurrents will post a scary chart claiming the ocean heat content has risen 1.6 x 10-2y joules - while ignoring that this amount of heat content is nearly meaningless and barely alters ocean temperature over a 5 decade period.
