I wonder if when, jem farts, he believes in those gases? He can't see them so they don't exist. Does he deny they stink? Is he a stinky-fart denier? Or do all jems farts smell like roses? I am guessing he is blaming the stink on volcanoes. They emit sulfur you know.

See where I am going with this?

Serial arsonist behind California wildfires caught as Gore blames ‘global warming’

Serial arsonist behind California wildfires caught as alarmists blame global warming – The serial arsonist who started most of the California wildfires has finally been arrested – yet alarmists still blame climate change for the fires
    [IMG]

A wildfire in California. Bureau of Land Management, Wikimedia Commons
The California wildfires still raging out of control are the work of a serial arsonist and not the result of global warming. Yesterday, officials arrested the dangerous firebug accused of setting 17 of California’s wildfires as firefighters battle the still-raging firestorms across the state. Previously, global warming alarmists said the wildfires were a result of the long-running California drought that has left a lot of dry tinder on the ground. Numerous studies have shown the California drought is entirely natural and part of a regular cyclic pattern for the state.

    Serial arsonist arrested

The man accused of setting the California wildfires is Damian Anthony Pashilk, who has been arraigned on 17 counts of serial arson. Unfortunately, the fires are still raging and the worst is yet to come. Fireseason for much of California is September through October when ground kindling is at its driest.

The wildfire that began as a small brush fire has also forced California into a state of emergency. As of today, the wildfire inSan Bernardino, dubbed the Blue Cut fire, has burned about 18,000 acres and drove 82,000 people from their homes. It was so hot it melted bikes and destroyed thousands of homes.

With the ongoing drought, summer heat, and strong winds, there was even a firenado spotted. Another fire, called the Clayton Fire, has wiped out roughly 4,000 acres and 175 homes since Saturday. While many residents are happy that Pashilkis behind bars, he has left a trail of misery in his wake. He has started at least 17 fires across the state, with many of them still burning.

    Part of a larger picture?

Prior to his capture, some people were speculating that the wildfires were part of a larger global warming picture. Some said that the fire season had started earlier this year and blamed it on the drought, high winds, and higher temperatures.

    [IMG]Finger on the scales
But it turns out an arsonist had his finger on the scales. Without Pashilk setting the fires, this likely would have been a normal fire season. Many of the problems facingCalifornia are self-inflicted from decades of fire suppression, a naturally occurringdrought, and mismanagement of water resources. While some have tried to blameglobal warming, studies keep disproving their alarmist rhetoric.

Even the Louisiana floods have come under scrutiny as somehow being part of a larger #Climate Change picture. Al Gore, who has fingered every natural event as being related to climate change, has jumped into the fray and blamed the floods onglobal warming. But studies show that the rainfall inLouisiana is entirely normal and also part of natural cycles.

I will give the filters I run people through...

In order to judge people properly (including yourself) if you can be that objective... you could pass them through 3 filters.

    a. walk a mile in their moccasins test. This is where you test their actions against their beliefs.
    b. test them against community standards
    c. try your best to test them against objective reality

when a person fails the "a" filter... if you don't fell like spending much time on them... you can discount everything they say because they have not taken the time to integrate their actions with their beliefs and they are likely to be off in many areas of thought and their lives.

or... you could try to figure out if they are failures in this one area because they are intellectual immature or they can't think straight in this one area for emotional reasons.

or.... they are liars for political reasons.

    b. is an interesting test and can be difficult if you are out of step with their community. for instance I know some black people my age feel like society has screwed them over and they have a lot of resentment. The problem for me is that some of they are probably seeing reality.
    For instance...
I loved the America we had and know the the left is steering us into the dark ages of the USSR over time. But for black person who got dumped on growing up... their desire for large change no matter the cost is understandable.

    c. takes time and experience (one of the coolest tests for skills in that type of filter building is trading. )

you should probably try to produce some peer reviewed science showing man made co2 causes warming... before you attempt to pretend you have a superior belief structure.

how can you feel superior when we have clearly shown you to be full of shit on this subject.

considering you have no science, is you mind not unclouded enough to consider the fact your hypothesis is incorrect?

defer to the scientific method and not your leftist emotions for once.

Below is a video done by GWPF interviewing Professor Valentina Zharkova. Professor Valentina Zharkova is the person that published a peer-reviewed paper regarding a new discovery that allows for the solar cycle to be predicted very accurately.

In the video around 4:00, she states that scientists were trying to silence her and contacted the astronomical society demanding that they withdraw the paper. The astronomical society backed her up and told these scientists(politicians) to actual do some science and prove her wrong. She contacted these scientists directly and asked them to work with her and that she is not predicting climate just the solar cycle. Of course, these scientist had absolutely no interest in doing science.

    Link to the paper.

The irony is almost comic if it weren't for the tragedy falling on innocent people. Futurcurrent is simply unstoppable:

Louisiana’s Sinking Coast Is a $100 Billion Nightmare for Big Oil

The state can’t pay, so someone has to. And the water keeps rising.
    August 17, 2016

From 5,000 feet up, it’s difficult to make out where Louisiana’s coastline used to be. But follow the skeletal remains of decades-old oil canals, and you get an idea. Once, these lanes sliced through thick marshland, clearing a path for pipelines or ships. Now they’re surrounded by open water, green borders still visible as the sea swallows up the shore.

The canals tell a story about the industry’s ubiquity in Louisiana history, but they also signal a grave future: $100 billion of energy infrastructure threatened by rising sea levels and erosion. As the coastline recedes, tangles of pipeline are exposed to corrosive seawater; refineries, tank farms and ports are at risk.

“All of the pipelines, all of the things put in place in the ’50s and ’60s and ’70s were designed to be protected by marsh,” said Ted Falgout, an energy consultant and former director of Port Fourchon.

Louisiana has an ambitious -- and expensive -- plan to protect both its backbone industry and its citizens from this threat but, with a $2 billion deficit looming next year, the cash-poor state can only do so much to shore up its sinking coasts. That means the oil and gas industry is facing new pressures to bankroll critical environmental projects -- whether by choice or by force....

Sinking land - which has been going on in Louisaina for centuries - has nothing to do with rising sea levels.
