So they are saying that 75% of the most sensitive species in the world, the ones already on the verge of extinction, could be wiped out by climate change, well those species werent exactly thriving before temperatures changed so its hard to blame it on that. Plus only an idiot would believe we would allow lions, rhinos, and tigers to actually go extinct, remember we live in the age of cloning, where we have a better understanding of the genome than any time in history, and our knowledge goes up exponentially year over year. So long as we have DNA of any of these fragile species we will be able to reproduce them. How long have journalists been trying to tell us panda bears will go extinct? The only reason they are still around is because of humans. If anything the real problem facing some of these endangered species is poachers, a couple degrees of temperature change is the least of their worries.
The study doesn't say it will all be due climate change only that it will be a factor. One that increases with time. Most of the extinctions that have happened recently are not from climate change.
LOL, im pretty sure if we were to see hell on earth, lefties would blame the devils carbon emissions for the sudden rise in temperature.
Actually, before its all said and done the Sun will consume the Earth. The long term weather forecast is going to be hot. According to the left, the sun has no effect on climate on Earth.
Hell will be on Earth during the red giant phase of our sun. I'm pretty certain we will have nuked ourselves into oblivion millennia in advance of that phase of the solar system, so not to worry.
Ohhh so we all have to buy into you political beliefs or we will nuked? What kind of world do Anti-American leftists like you live?
Frustrated Republicans Argue Pope Should Leave Science To Scientists Who Deny Climate Change WASHINGTON—In response to a 184-page papal encyclical that urges immediate action to address the environmental and social consequences of global warming, a coalition of frustrated Republican leaders issued statements Thursday arguing that Pope Francis should leave scientific matters to scientists who deny climate change. “Frankly, it’s not really anyone’s place to make declarations about climate science or global temperature changes unless they’re a scientific expert who has spent years rejecting the concept of climate change,” said former Florida governor Jeb Bush, who added that the pope had neither studied climate science nor ever been among the 3 percent of researchers who stand in opposition to the overwhelmingly dominant position held by the scientific community on climate change, so he had no business speaking on the subject. “Personally, I would never trust anyone as an authority on climate change unless they had done years of research and published papers claiming there isn’t enough conclusive evidence yet. The pope should just stick to theology and let the several dozen scientists who support the scientifically disproven point of view on global warming do the talking.” Bush also told reporters that Pope Francis was unqualified to issue policy recommendations of any kind unless he had personally accepted money from the fossil fuel industry.
