Wow. So to you, you think this is a zero some game of either China or America and a difference of approximately 10%.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you not only a Trump supporter but the exact reason why the future of the United States of America is in jeopardy.

I will be glad when this week ends.

I am getting so tired of winning.

Please, please Mr. Trump. Too much winning.

so go ahead and give us the garbage econ and perversion of adam smiths invisible hand the elites have been spewing for us the last 3 decades as they have allowed China to take over our manufacturing and hollow out america.

you all never think in systems.

America's manufacturing boomed because of protectionism
    Europe's did as well
    the japan
    Then the asian tigers
    now china...

and you morons are still spouting shallow understandings of econ taught to you by the propaganda messengers of the elites.

Go ahead tell us about the production frontiers and how everyone benefits when countries focus on what they do best.

    That is in theory...
That is when currencies are not pegged.
That is when there are no artificial barriers to trade.

its not our reality... its theory.

Tariffs raise the cost of goods in the USA for consumers. Fact.

But they are needed, imho, to re-balance our vast trade defecits with countries some of whom dump goods in the USA below cost to kill domestic production. I believe that is also a fact. Other countries seek asymmetric taxation schemes against American companies. They will be subject to tariffs too.
