Except maybe for Trump, who sounds like a 10-year-old in remedial reading class who didn't do his homework.
I can recognize bias. But I can also surmise a rationale. Such as not accepting lies and digging deeper. That's what police investigators do, and it's what good journalists do. The bias against Trump is equivalent to a bias against fraud.
When CNN is hosting segments on the best vacuum in the morning... why do you think they are hosting this "news". Paid product placement is found all over your daily CNN broadcast. The organizations with an agenda making themselves available is a separate issue.
News outlets, especially cable, are slanted toward sensationalism. All news outlets misreport and get stories wrong. The difference between news outlets is which ones make corrections. You posted a Fox News story about Texas voter rolls that completely misrepresented the truth. I corrected that post with the facts and the appropriate sourcing. You still have not acknowledged that Fox News reporting was in fact wrong and guess who else has not, Fox News and Donald Trump who also spread the same FAKE news story. Get off your high horse and get your shit right.
Bias towards the truth? Bwaaaaahahaha. Really? Okay here's the truth 99.99999% of the time. Sit down and prepare yourself. The truth is we don't know yet. There you have it. Now tell me how the talking heads fill 24/7 news with that story? They can't so they specualte and it is that speculation which displays their bias.
If you want fair news, don't watch CNN, MSNBC or FOX. OAN is the new neutral news. Coming from CNN or Fox, it take a little while to get used to the monotone reporting, but after a while, it feels normal. They don't report the news to get your blood boiling, or raise the voice if Trump did something they did or didn't like. It's just calm, fact based reporting.
This thread has become mostly about FOX vs. CNN. I think the mainstream media does a good job on balance. CNN, whatever you may have against it, will hold people to account for what they say. If not in the moment, because the interviewer was not prepared with all the facts, then in due course. From what I had seen, FOX is less likely to hold people to account for their falsehoods. Occasionally, refreshingly, I've seen them do their job, but less often than CNN when it comes down to ferreting out the facts.
Although OAN is a conservative news channel, during the day they simply report the news like old time CNN. I actually find myself there in the middle of the day a lot. The problem is they grabbed just out of college cardboard cut outs to read the news so they have no talent or skill. BUT they are simply reporting on what is going on in the WORLD. Just avoid the nighttime talk shows that are on par with Fox bias.
What is obvious is that some will follow blindly no matter what. Those people wether on one side or the other are scary lol. It should have taken only 15-20 tweets to open your eyes. Cmon man.
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/trump-rips-three-fox-news-journalists Trump rips three Fox News journalists The two Fox News weekend anchors he tagged were Arthel Neville and Leland Vittert. The tweet came after Fox News’ “America’s News HQ” brought on David Green, president of the United Autoworkers Local 1112, to discuss the closing of a General Motors factory in Lordstown, Ohio. After the interview, the president took aim at Green.
