So in American history some third candidates did manaqge to get in the presidency seat with less than 22% of the votes. That is great "democracy" american-style. I guess that is what McMullin is trying to replicate.
If McMullin is really looking to play the US-election system, then he does not really need a vice-president as this person would be chosen by the Senate. It would be quiet a show if such a scenario was to happen. None of the major candidate scoring the 270 electors. Then the House of Representative chosing the President among all the candidates.
So Evan McMullin has now showed up in betting forms. His odds being around 500:1 Took a long time. I assumed he'd be at 300:1, but 500:1 seems like impossible. His strategy is all about "spoiling the party", so as to prevent any of the main candidates to score the 270.
Clearly the guy received a great "education" running for this elections. He must be the pride of all police, law enforecement, secret services officers. Add to it his "GS badge", all the bankers and bank staff must be taking credit! At least, we can see that America is capable of producing "high quality leaders", like McMullin. Because these two candidates have so many flaws, that we started to wonder about "is that the best America can produce as President?"
It looks like the media is starting to learn about how to "spoil" an election. They did not seem to be aware that if none of the two major candidates do not get the 270 number, than a tie opens the gate for any "impossibility". Obviously, spoiling an election would be a real feast. The whole world would be looking with amazement of US "democracy"!

In a way, it is incredible that in less than 2 months he managed to get such traction. At least it shows that America is capable of producing quality presidential hopefuls, because seriously overseas we were wondering.
