  1. I'm interested in trading the dax market. What hours is it open for trade?

any suggestions on a broker? Software etc?

  2. I look across the Atlantic right now.

There's nothing right or wrong about which markets to trade and I've been in both the European and US markets at various times. It's more the thought of starting to work at such an ungodly hour of the morning like 8.00 a.m. doesn't appeal too much... :D

  5. Joe, you're right - it's not an issue. When I become a consistent winner on the dax, I won't care wether the USD is weak compared to NOK or not!

Although we live in California, we spent a good part of the year in a "neschtle" near Stuttgart, where I am now trading US mkts from, with IB and using IRT software on a Mac...

What a world. Believe me, the hours in Germany are MUCH easier!

  8. OK, what platform do you use for trading? Experiences from a Scandinavian viewpoint?

For those who are trading the European Markets....exactly what brokers are you using to execute? Also what software are you using for Technical Analysis that provides real time data to those of us who live in the United States? I know alot of people use IB for execution and thats fine, however; they dont offer and charting package such as realtick does...so with that in mind i would appreciate any responses to these questions thank you.
