    Not any more.. lol

I am yorkshire born (hi natalie! :) ) and birmingham and shropshire bred.. and being half irish am now living in the sunny west of ireland.. from where I attempt to trade on a wobbly isdn line.. trading mostly nasdaq stocks with a few failed attempts to master the eminis..

our dream is to move to the (truly) sunny south of france and trade from there.. spending the mornings lazing around the pool.. sipping chilled white wine.. and starting to trade in a calm relaxed frame of mind at the very civilized hour of 3.30 CET.. any french traders or traders living in france would love to hear from you..

  5. Hi Neil! :)

Just don't drink too much of that wine around the pool or you'll be too drunk to trade. Oh well there goes another day......

    Busy doing nothing
    Working the whole day through
    Trying to find
Lots of things not to do.

    Busy going nowhere
    Isn't it such a crime
    I'd like to be unhappy
    But!

  6. Not in France right now, rather in the eye of the storm in NYC but have lived a very long time in France and count on going back to trade if I find fiscal arrangements.
    France is one expensive country.

I am really curious. Can someone give me a tax breakdown in France and how it compares to other european countries. How much are the income taxes and do you pay taxes on capital gains as well and how much. If you are an independent trader are you still part of the socialist government system or are you on your own and therefore don't pay as much to the govn't. Thanks.
