I don't support Keynesian Economics but picking pieces of it is probably a lot less effective. The thing is.. Raising taxes is political suicide.
Nope. Keynesian "intervention" requires a very important piece that the US has failed to do for a very very long time.
In his dying days, he laughed at people who beleived the things he wrote when he was young, and not only laughed at them, but like any self respecting genious, despised them. What was that the man said? Oh yeah, it's all relative.
I know for me personally, when I was 27 I was damn near the worlds most foremost expert on love, sex, and marriage. Now I'm not too sure, but I sure despise people my age who still believe what I did.
