Everyone knows that all the ills of the world are because of the "evil" judeo-christian, heterosexual, male of european extract, and his colonial policies.

Sarcasm and racism aside, these have/have not arguments are invariably one sided.

Yes, money takes care of its friends and gives them jobs.

Yes, money hires your 1000$/hr lawyers to grant you "justice" in a court of "law"

Yes, money gives fellow money stock/investment insider information

But so what? When in history has it been otherwise?

The one thing that always amazes me is whether its Stalin or Mao, or Castro, or Obama, or Bush, or the Taliban, or best of breed, they all seem to have nice tailors and are well fed with access to competent doctors.

The downfall of all political models is the truth about man, observed by a socialist. Which cannot and will never change.

"All men are equal but some are more equal than others"

Those who are more equal in whatever fashion will tilt the odds in their favor. Period.

Accept responsibility for your own life or you're never going to change it, no matter how many revolutions you partake in.

Because you may take that rich guys mansion on the hill behind his white walls by force, but by the next generation your son will be shining the next rich guys shoes if HE doesnt do something to maintain it.

Someone in this thread said it: "you cant eat morality"

I was watching CNN last night "War Within" about Afghanistan. Most of that country is still living in the 10th century. All their troubles can be laid at the feet of the Soviets and the Americans? Thats impressive!

Are the poor... poor simply because the rich are rich?

    Or are there other reasons?

  3. If unemployment and taxes were all that mattered in a society I would say you are 100% right.

However, I believe statistically you are correct but there is way much more to take into account when you compare different systems.
