Europe Socialism vs. American Socialism. Europe for all, America for a few.

  1. Europe sucks if you're poor and want to get rich. Europe is great if you're poor and have NO INTENTION of getting rich.

  2. Communism is a scientifical wealth managment system where everyone is poor ( apart the ruling class ) and thusfar egality rules... but it don't work because it can't produce wealth.

Socialism, is the recognition of this failure by this communists and they try to fight on the moral ground. But always they will ask you something in return :

The freedom to spend your money as YOU want... heavy price for little benefit

  3. I don't think it's the causis. This kids come in majority from africa, mainly north africa. Their parents came in France to raise their living standard. Remember the french doctrine : Liberty, Egalitiy, fraternity. When the manufacturing was still done in France.

They were like everyone else at 6-7 years old. They went to school and they were teach those great words. BUT, they discover the truth. Contrary to "capitalist america" their parents were working hard but they couldn't move up in the ladder. Because of their name, the skins color, and mostly because the french language is made that it's very hard for a stranger to express and not be taken for someone stupid. In france if you don't speak well french you are a shit ( even more important writing ). And result don't really matter, more who you know, wich uni you attended...

Then now as this family had little money they were parked outside of the city in big building block. But away from the city like 20min train. It's like little ecosystem. And the kids living there don't respect the french institutions. They want to deal illegal stuff to raise their income, and the cops where in their way. So they had to keep the cops aways from the blocks... Thusfar keeping this blocks in total isolation from the outside world. If you want to visit the true Paris go in the north of it...

Not a single member of the french goverment come from a "minority group". And you can search down, city governement, big area, no one is foreigner.

  4. If it's so bad for them, why don't they just go back to where they came from? Sounds like someone's angling for sympathy and support where it isn't due.

Sure there have been others over time but anyway...

I do agree europe has had a failed integration policy that has come back and bite the old continent in the ass but in reality integration of minorities is or has been a problem around the world and the ultimate solution has yet to be found.

It's like economics. Some say print money others say don't and in reality neither of them can really know where it will end.

  6. The country I live in Europe has less income taxes than US, sure we have 20% sales tax which US does not, but income taxes are less then in US. Also we don't have capital gains tax. US spends too much, it spends more than european countries because of NASA, 2 wars and socialism for the rich.

Because we don't have capital gains basically trading the US market with European passport is better than with US passport. Did you know the USA taxes you even when you're not living in US, just because you have US passport they tax you. They're like the only country in the world that does that except for north-korea. Big brother is watching you :p

  7. I'm not trying to be racist, but in my country muslims are 10% of population but 40-50% of people in jail are muslim. It's just not normal. I have seen enough Muslims who aren't criminal, I really think it's their culture that keeps them back.
The same reason why Muslim countries rarely win nobelprize, science is not welcome their, just faith.

  8. Every country in Europe that I am aware of is treating "professional trading" capital gains as ordinary income. Even though some countries do not tax capital gains you will still have to pay (sometimes sizable) income taxes, depending on how much in trading gains you have.

Liechtenstein, Monte Carlo, Cyprus, Andorra and possibly Malta are notable exceptions.

Taxes in Europe are generally bad, especially for higher incomes. This is nothing new. It doesn't stop there. Indirect taxes are out of hand. Europeans created a system of clever indirect taxation of sugar, insurances, champagne all the way to an entertainment tax.

For higher tax brackets, if you earn 300,000 EUR a year in countries like Germany, Denmark, Sweden or France it is likely you see your government taking a 50-60% cut, leaving you with less than half. Then you are nailed with indirect taxes on your consumption. Another 10% of your gross income gone. You end up paying 70% of your annual income to the government. It used to be called communism, now it's labeled "putting the weight on the shoulders of those who can carry it".

It's a paradise if you're an unemployment married couple in your 30s with five children. Nothing to worry about then. European governments take care of their loyal sheep from the crib all the way to the casket.

Many of those who can take off. UK (nondom taxation for foreigners), Monte Carlo, Caribbean, Switzerland (lump sum taxation for foreigners), Dubai et. al.

  9. You forget Europe for most part hasnt been turned into this Orwellian fasco police state to serve the ruling kleptocraty as the US or the UK which is quite a plus when comparing life quality if you would ask me wouldn't you agree?

  10. Well if you put it like that combined tax bracket including everything is more than in US.
But what about the good parts, healthcare till 18 is free for everyone, basic dental care is free until 22.. I don't know how much you pay for healthcare in the US but the stories I heard were not very good.
You say it's hard to get rich in Europe, well what about USA. Hello 50k/a year college education.
At least here education is cheap and healthcare is cheap. When everythings cheap like that you can become rich much faster.
Without a rich family to support you living in USA = debt = slavery compared to Europe where u got no debt just slight higher taxes.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capital_gains_tax#United_States

The IRS allows for individuals to defer capital gains taxes with tax planning strategies such as the Structured sale (Ensured Installment Sale), charitable trust (CRT), installment sale, private annuity trust, and a 1031 exchange. The United States is unlike other countries in that its citizens are subject to U.S. tax on their worldwide income no matter where in the world they reside. U.S. citizens therefore find it difficult to take advantage of personal tax havens. Although there are some offshore bank accounts that advertise as tax havens, U.S. law requires reporting of income from those accounts and failure to do so constitutes tax evasion.

You can't even move to a different country to pay less tax if youre american. BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU.
