I want to hedge myself and invest in Europe. What stocks can I buy here to expose myself to europe? Is there any ETF that is a broad Europe play? the ones I know are country specific (EWP, EWQ, EWU, EWG) I don't want to have to pick just one. Is there any that have broad exposure?
European ETFs are illiquid in the US, but OK for buy and hold a small position, if that's what you want. http://www.fool.com/investing/etf/2007/07/24/go-europe-an-overview-of-european-etf-options.aspx Why not diversify into Euro and open a brokerage account in EUROS, with access to european exchanges.
