I like your long pound / short aussie. 6B has some aggressive buying late in the day...offers getting lifted more than bids gettin' hit.
I was looking at dec8/may9 and stayed out. i like the trade for the same reason i'm leery of buying near meats vs. deferred meats (although they are way the hell out of whack). It looks like the meats have priced in higher feed prices down the road while the feed (corn) hasn't priced it in yet.
Hey guys...great thread again...when considering trading EuroDollar Futures spreads...when I look at the SPAN requirments...see below: Eurodollar (ED) - All Months Consecutive Spread [Mo. 1-8] Spec $270 Eurodollar (ED) - All Months Consecutive Spread [Mo. 9-12] Spec $101 Eurodollar (ED) - All Months Consecutive Spread [Mos. 13-43] Spec $68 Does "All months consecutive Spread" mean: A-the months must be actuallly next to each other (I.E. Jan09-Feb09) Or... B-Can it be like EXAMPLE: Sept08/Dec08 as that is within [Mo. 1-8] and the initial margin per one spread would be $270 for me, a speculator...thanks greatly in advance for clarifying...
or, am what I am explaining really would fit under: Eurodollar (ED) - Tier 1 vs. Tier 1 [mth 01-04 vs. mth 01-04 ] Intra-Commodity Spread - Spec $473 Eurodollar (ED) - Tier 1 vs. Tier 2 [mth 01-04 vs. mth 05-08 ] Intra-Commodity Spread - Spec $675 ...if so, please help me understand...then what is "All Months Consecutive Spread" as described above...and different than these here?...thanks again!
