Euro falls after ECB says it will delay the withdrawal of stimulus measures

The European Central Bank will continue to offer special longer-term liquidity tenders in 2011, President Jean-Claude Trichet said.

Euro is back around session highs. Dollar is collapsing. Risk is full on.

 

You do realize that while Trichet was saying this, the ECB was in the market buying huge chunks of PIIG debt. Spreads narrowed like crazy, stocks took off, and the euro rebounded.
