Euro denominated ETF's?

Discussion in 'ETFs' started by Rearden Metal, May 14, 2006.

  1. I'd like to know if the big European bourses offer investment products which are similar to the American ETF's.

This would enable the investor to purchase a broad basket of Euro denominated stocks- without placing one's self at the mercy of the stock picking abilities (and fees) of any mutual fund manager.

    Does anyone know?

yes, there are plenty of broad-based etf's and also some sector-based ones - you will have to go to each exchange's website to get the details - ishares is just one vendor/distributor, there are plenty of others, from my research i believe deutsche boerse has the broadest offering - all the best.
