    Week Ending 2-3-2006

    I exited this trade today @ 1.2027 for a 133 point profit per contract. My long term views have not changed at this point. I am standing aside until I have confirmation of the move down past this point.

    I saw a couple things today which really bothered me. One of which was bond yields. I have bonds hitting a key level and reversing. So until that pans out better. I am flat here. Also, there was a lot of solid demand at the lows today as far as I am concerned.

    I am seeing a possible move back up to the 1.22 area possible. Until that view changes, I do not want the pain.

    I will wait until the tide and wind are together. That may be early next week, but I need convincing.

    I am continuing to trade short term and I will try to post some shorter term views here so we can discuss.

    Good trading everyone and have a nice weekend.

    Let's change things up. Here's my plan for the start of the week if price action moves back down..

    Long @ 1.2006

    T1 = 1.2088
    T2= 1.2131

    Stop 1.1971

    A better entry if you can get it may be 1.1983. I may put half on at 2006 and see what happens.

    I also see a strong entry at 1.2022 and there is a chance price will not head much under here and move away without a fill, but I would rather take the chance a little lower.

    Good Trading.

    On short term trading, I don't really try pick the targets ahead of time. When my indicators say get long --I get long. Note: the weekly GEC MACD has moved downward on the close FRI. It is generally a signal to go short. Daily charts also point down. I would look at a point on an hourly chart to initiate a new short. That would prevent the pain of entering and having the market bounce while you wait for the downturn. I myself now need to look at this as my short 126 calls have given me about all they can.

    I had to get back in. I shorted last nite at 1.2038. I brought my stop down to at least break even. Trade seems to be going well. I do not think support will hold and we will eventually go lower.

    there is a potential here of the EUR/USD carving out a short term bottom and perhaps a bounce prior to another move lower

  9. Well price is hovering around 1.1977 as I type this. I know it is against the trading god rules, but I moved my stop out of the way of the low which was 1 tick below my stop(Go figure). I still like my long postion at this point. I got filled at 1.2006 and at 1.1983.

    Sitting Long for now. Take care.

  10. If we do move up, we are going to have to get thru the 1.2022 area. I suspect there will be some downward pressure here.
