Well, two years on from the last post but just adding my two euros on this subject. The newer full point dax is (still) not great for scalpers - tricker getting in and out of trades compared to the older fast moving 0.5 tick version. If Eurex want to keep big Dax as 1point size, I wish they would at least make the mini-Dax a bit like the old Dax. Or perhaps they could split mini-Dax up into 0.25 ticks rather than the same full point size as the big Dax. Mini-Dax could then become equivalent to the NQ?! Any views?
What do you mean when you refer to "old Dax"? There are actually three size DAX contracts: full size, mini and micro.
