Doctor doctor! It hurts when I place a market order in the NQ, which has violent moves at any time, and slips! "Then don't place a market order" Sorry ESkiller, no sympathy for you. Maybe you are just not used to the NQ, because you trade the ES?
Max, you could always just stick to the YM, where each tick is a point. No decimals, no nothing. Easy as whole number Apple pie! (Oh, wait, AAPL is splitting 4:1 soon. Oops)
Thanks for the reminder. https://www.eurex.com/ex-en/find/ci...and-deletion-of-orders-quotes-in-FDAX-2360354 Be aware that all open orders in FDAX have been deleted after close of business last Friday. You will have to re-enter your orders.
I don't really understand what's the impact of the change. What are the pros and cons of big tick size versus small tick size? From posts in this thread, some like it, some hate it.
Instead of a bid ask 13,000.00 13,000.50 with say 5 lots on each side It will be 13,000 13,001 With more lots on each side, how many more we will find out over the coming weeks. If you prefer the thinner market you wont like the change. If you prefer a thicker wider market you will like the change.
Thanks. Advantage of change is more liquidity on bid and offer. Disadvantage is bigger spread. I think this change seems to favour market makers.
