  1. like most arcades their presentations are a waste of time.

the model worked back in 2000 for about 2 years.

    now it does not work.

whats does work is taking 5k from someone to tell them how to make money trading.

    its a snake oil sale.

keep them hooked and get them to put another 5k in.

i know of another company doing this and they told me of the 2 to 3 hundred people they had trained not one of them was currently trading - most gave up after 1 to 3 months.

yet strangely enough more people turn up to be ' trained '.

All that can be presented is opportunity and guidance.

As somebody who has been involved with this for some time, I know first hand how the conversion rate has fallen.

The most important thing is to trade in the moment. The bottom line is that if there is a range and volume, then there is opportunity. Its all about putting the right glasses on to see it.

Agree with the range and volume quote.Hence I have moved over to US exchanges as the EUREX products are just slowly dying a death Volume wise, hence many of the guys at my firm dont bother with EUREX anymore, shame really as was a good exchange to trade up until a year or so ago, dread to think what the state of EUREX will be in a few years , thats if its still even in buisness. At least us locals have realised this and have consequently left EUREX .

For scalpers the past few years, or even for spread traders trading for a single tic perhaps. There are independent traders here in Chicago making very, very good livings trading the US yield curve. If one is playing in the same timeframe as RSJ or Getco, then it could be difficult. The exchange intra and inter-market spread SPAN margin credits are an advantage - use it.

  7. first stop promoting the us fixed income market as if its free money for everyone.

secondly take that pathetic advert about your company every time you post

have you ever heard of negative advertising.

every time we see that shit we think you are a cock
