Hi guys, I am based in Pattaya and I am connected to the EUREX Singapore hub. I would be interested to know where other EUREX scalpers are based and what is the ping time to the relavant hub. I am currently getting lag/ping times of about 7-18 ms direct from Pattaya. Thanks.
Hmmm, Ping is 40ms, pattaya - sg, with CAT cable. Your very low number seems impossible, True, 3BB, CAT, TOT... I think all 30ms at least. Even 40ms is nothing so don't worry too much. If you need lower latency for an automated system then you're already too far away. There's no matching engine in Singapore is there? -CQG feed I presume there is.
Nope, just done a test and I am getting that data- shame me server not located in Franktfurt au main!
To the Singapore hub I'm getting 22ms in Penang, Malaysia and it's a little over 30ms when I'm in Phuket, Thailand. Ping times to Germany are considerably worse.
