holy moly. . . . . Eurex just announced. . . . . no more assistant id's. Now, one must have either a) relevant prior experience or formal admission to another exchange AND a partial exam; or 2) pass the full Eurex exam.
But this only applies to people in prop firms trading off their firms' membership id. Is this requirement being extended to all retail traders?
No, only to professional traders working for Eurex exchange participants (Eurex's word for their members), not to retail customers who happen to be able to execute their own orders.
