  3. Exit short with a stop at 0.87. Profits 10 pips.

    5:15PM on december 9, 2008: started scaling entry short side with EUR/GBP at 0.8765 to 0.8770 area.

    I am posting this is real-time. Time is now 5:17PM as I hit the post button.



    Realized profits: 155 PIPS.
    Unrealized: just entry now
    Cumulative: 155 pips.
    Cumulative Losses: none.

    pound goes to parity with euro in 2009 - there is no way around this.
    uk is bankrupted.

    I trade this pair a few times a week - but only for a quick contrarian scalp when it's overbought/sold. EUR sure has been getting stronger vs GBP, and if EURUSD starts breaking out over 1.30 we should be looking at 0.9 on EURGBP.

  6. Thanks guys. I have to look at your bullish case in more details, as my trade is against your opinions. If you are right, I will have to pay. I prefer to analysis what you think, rather than paying in cash.

    But for the moment, I have been right, and have made profits to cover any losses in case you were to be right in the future.

    Could someone please tell me where that is that pair now as I do not have acces to quotes/ect?

    I have been long this and short gbp/usd for over a month. Unfortunately I am also short eur/usd which hasn't played out yet.
