I can just hear Boehner now, saying how he found it "regretful" that the president had cancelled the elections. In the next breath he would be promising to keep the government running. Ted Cruz was exactly right. If they want to take on Obama, there are plenty of other targets to use as leverage that don't carry the PR threat Homeland Security does.
