The EU finance ministers will discuss possible new regulations on the cryptop market on their 7th of September Vienna meeting according to draft documents, prepared for the summit. The main concern in focus remains the general lack of transparency on the market, as well as the use of crypto currencies in criminal activities like money laundering, terrorism financing and tax evasion. The new proposals, to be discussed by the EU finance ministers, however seek ways to integrate the crypto and the capital markets. “ ICOs have established an effective and efficient way to raise capital”, the draft document.
