Kraken's had major lag, connection issues today. If this keeps up I'll be looking elsewhere. Market orders sitting there for 20+ seconds. Orders disappearing and not getting filled.
Kraken goes down everytime there's a selloff. Not that I see other exchanges being better though. Anyways, I would love to see a print sub 300 on ETH. I'll pick up some BTC if we print 2100-2200.
I think you have to compare Bitcoin with Visa. Visa do 56,000 transactions per second compared with 7 for Bitcoin. Visa has a market cap of $212b bitcoin $45bn. Bitcoin has advantages in that it is deflationary and transportable but it is getting ridiculous now.
It's only a matter of time until India legalizes it; all that rupee flow into the cryptocurrency is quite telling. I guess it's also a matter of time until some big money (hedge funds?) gets a hold of the float and starts manipulating the price.
Is this the bottom for ETH? Bargain shoppers might want to the a look at ETH at its current price level.
