Due to Schonfeld's recent acquisition of ETG, I am trying to find another broker as I like the old ETG Trader platform(InstaQuote). Just wondering if anyone else may have went through this acquisition and was wondering where I might go to get my ETG Trader platform again.
The platform that you are speaking of is a "branded" version of the InstaQuote platform from a company that was acquired by Bank of America Securities. http://corp.bankofamerica.com/public/equities/ets/dmaccess/index.jsp Due to the incredible hard work by a single individual ( Bruce Tandy ) the ETG Platform became fairly decent again this past year. However, it took a tremendous amount of hard work and time by Mr. Tandy. There were also tons of delays because ETG was held captive by the schedule of priorities by BofA. I really don't think that you are gonna be finding this platform anywhere else. Besides, the "Tandy-Man" was key to ETG Trader's development. He was very friendly and responsive to any traders needs.
