I'm just in for a quick daytrade. You holding through earnings tomorrow? I thought it was a bit overbought, just looking for 0.10 - 0.20 intra-day on a couple thousand shares.

 

i covered at $38.01 ... +0.12 on 2K shares

 

That is an excellent idea. I use to scalp QLGC for 15 - 20 cents all the time. I think that I have enough protections to carry me through the report. I might consider to buy some calls later though. But, generally, I think it has a negative breath now.

QCOM is another excellent short now for 15 - 20 cents

 

My shorts on QLGC and QCOM are both in the profit now but I'm still holding them.

 

Congrats on the QLGC .. see it trading at $35.89 afterhours. No regrets here .. I made my scalp yesterday and rarely hold into earnings.

 

Have you considered starting a Journal?

I agree, but maintaining a journal requires too much of a commitment. I post when I have time. If it is not desirable I'll stop. I just thought that it would provide some help to beginners.

I would say to create a journal and post to it when you have time, but I am certainly not going to delete your posts here if you continue this thread.
