OK, with some June ETF distributions of LT cap gains, I noticed that they appear simply as "Dividend" on my IB stmt. Can I trust that this is just a limitation on the stmts and that they will correctly be accounted for at 1099 time? (Well, I will actually check then. I guess what I'm really asking is if someone who's an ETF holder at IB can confirm that this is merely a limitation in what the stmt shows, i.e., I should not immediately point out that a distribution is really a LT cap gain and should be corrected to show as such on the stmt.)
