I don't think I ever had to pay any management fee when holding ETF's , don't they charge like 0.25%-0.6 % of assets ? How do they charge you when you hold them for hours or days ?
I trade almost entirely ETFS. Crash course: The management fee is built into the fund price, as it is usually already an amount discounted to NAV. If the ETF is in demand it will trade at a premium to NAV. The managers fee is already built into that as well. So to answer your question, when holding intraday hours or minutes, there is no asset management fee due to the fact that its already built into the discount or premium from NAV (Net Asset Value of the underlying portfolio) on the secondary market.
