why is it that some (or group of ) users can post more than one reviews on the same firm using the same name or different names, while some users (like me) cannot? Seems the standard is whether the opinions are favorable to ET and their sponsors.

    :p

  2. They all have ET Advanced 2.0...

    Seriously:
I think they moniter the people by the E-mail address and people who post different reviews have multiple non-Yahoo, Hotmail accounts...

    That's my guess.

I need to code in a filter to prevent users from posting multiple reviews. Currently, I'm having to delete multiple reviews manually, which is neither a real-time process, nor it is fool proof. It's not my intention that anybody get to vote more than once for the same product or service.

By the way, your assertion that the reviews are somehow biased towards our sponsors couldn't be further from the truth.
