ET Roll Call:

  1. In west Philadelphia born and raised, on the playground was where I spent most of my time. Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool and engaging in wholesome athletic activities. When a couple of guys who were up to no good, started making trouble in my community.
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared-
She said "You're movin' with your auntie and uncle out of state".

The taxi ride to their house was rather uneventful, but I was finally there- To sit on my throne as a monarch of some sort.

Raised in the Appalachian mountains of southeastern Kentucky, I lived a fairly sheltered life until I went into the navy in 1984. It was when I was in the navy when I first started getting ineterested in the stock market and reading Money magazine and looking for stock tips in the business section of the USA Today.

I didn't really start trading until years later though, in 1997 when I believed I could make a fortune buying options. I actually held on for 8 months before I blew my account out. I would try to send as much of my wages to my broker until August of 1999 when I finally decided that being an options buyer wasn't a very good idea. (I stopped buying equity options but there was a short while that I traded OEX options intraday. I did pretty good at it for a while).

In 2002 I took a couple of huge financial hits not related to the market and was out of the market until 2005. 2005 was my best year ever in terms of dollars made.

To me, chat boards are like an office. Just having the thing up on my screen makes me feel less alone. For years before I found ET I was on another board but it descending into a crap hole after it was sold. I chose ET as my new office after a google search because of the surprising depth of discussion found here.

Anyway, as a trader I have morphed into a stock jockey, holding positons for weeks to months. I run scans on my data base of stocks and I also read the stock tables in the print edition of the WSJ. I'm probably the last person in the world who does that.

I'm 44 years old, never married, live alone in San Diego, CA in the USA.

And that's all I got to say about that.

Was born in New New York a few years after the Atlantic Ocean was drained and urban sprawl reached all the way to England and Africa. Don't even get me started on New New California and the Australian Asteroid Lake. Dropped out of every school my foster cyborgs ever put me in. Did this thing for that gal twice and she told me how to transport back in time to catch the BIG DROP in the market that Obama's socialist government is busy getting started. When Dow hits 1,000, I'll cover my shorts, buy the companies that I know will make it big over the next few hundred years (teleeating, teledrinking and teledating) and set up a trust to make gazillions of new money. Then I'll go back, take ahold of the trust and show them guys. Just a matter of a year or two... :D
